Troopers Arrest a Breaux Bridge Man for Attempted Manslaughter of a St. Martin Parish Deputy

Breaux Bridge – On September 8, 2015 shortly after 12:00 am, Detectives with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were contacted by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office in reference to one of their Deputy’s being injured while attempting to make an arrest.

Former Crawfish Queen now N.O. ‘Saintsation’

New Orleans – The New Orleans Saints football team has announced the selection of Breaux Bridge native Alana Sonnier Adams as a member of the 2015-16 Saintsations cheerleader squad. This will be Alana’s second consecutive year with the elite group.

Citizen's group formed to support area lawmen

A group of concerned citizens and residents of St. Martin Parish recently formed a group called the St. Martin Parish Friends of Law Enforcement (F.O.L.E) with Don “Tuffy” Resweber serving as chairman.
