New Acadian Legend inducted

Sylvia Segura Bienvenu of New Iberia, a longtime St. Martin Parish teacher and resident of St. Martinville, has been inducted as a Living Legend, a program sponsored by the Acadian Museum of Erath to honor an individual who has helped shape and define Cajun culture.

St. Martin Parish teachers and students return to school this week as the 2015-16 session gets underway.
In one of the earliest openings in recent years, faculty and staff reported yesterday (Tuesday) for two days of in-service activities.
