True Friends scholarships awarded

THE ALBERT P. JOSEPH MEMORIAL Scholarship of $800 each was awarded by the True Friends of LaPoint on July 12 to (from left) Akani Aubrey, Amber Lee and Logan Kately, and (from right) Keithan Cormier and Tayler Gary.

Since the award was established in 1991 to assist financially and academically deserving seniors, the True Friends of La Pointe has awarded more than $51,000 in scholarships.
