On Monday, Nov. 16, the Breaux Bridge Police Department arrested Calvin Joseph Gauthia Jr., 42, of Abbeville, on suspicion of molesting of a juvenile.
The arrest stems from an incident in September 2015 where Gauthia allegedly molested a 5-year-old girl.
Narcotics agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, acting on a tip, raided a residence in the 1200 block of Old Spanish Trail and arrested four persons on a variety of drug charges.
The agents seized several different illegal drugs including methamphetamine, amphetamine, methylphenidate, hydrocodone, LSD and marijuana.
