Broussard drug bust nabs four

Narcotics agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, acting on a tip, raided a residence in the 1200 block of Old Spanish Trail and arrested four persons on a variety of drug charges.
The agents seized several different illegal drugs including methamphetamine, amphetamine, methylphenidate, hydrocodone, LSD and marijuana.

TV-10 Food Drive Dec. 8

The annual Channel 10 “FOOD FOR FAMILIES” FoodNet Drive will be held on Tuesday Dec. 8.
Donations may be dropped off at the Veterans Home in Breaux Bridge from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All collections from the FoodNet Food drive will be distributed to the needy within St. Martin Parish.

L’Ordre du Bon Temps raising funds for St. Martinville’s Acadian Memorial

L’Ordre du Bon Temps Louisiane 2015 will be Thursday, Nov 12, starting at 6 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Wyndham Garden Hotel Acadiana on Pinhook in Lafayette.
Rendered in English as the Order of Good Cheer, the event, which includes a social hour, meal and entertainment, is a fund-raiser for the Acadian Memorial Foundation.
