TV-10 Food Drive Dec. 8

The annual Channel 10 “FOOD FOR FAMILIES” FoodNet Drive will be held on Tuesday Dec. 8.
Donations may be dropped off at the Veterans Home in Breaux Bridge from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All collections from the FoodNet Food drive will be distributed to the needy within St. Martin Parish.
The St. Bernard/St. Francis Food Pantry is located at 610 N. Main St., Breaux Bridge. The pantry is an all-volunteer agency, open once a week to distribute food and personal items to low income families who reside in St. Martin Parish.
Last year the pantry served over 407 families which included almost 1,000 people, and so far this year the clientele has increased to over 450 families which include over 1,100 individuals.
St. Bernard/St. Francis Food Pantry, a non-profit, faith based non-sectarian 501c(3) organization, is also in need of volunteers, especially on Tuesdays for interviewing and shopping, and on Wednesdays for unloading and storing supplies.
