As the 2015 football season moves into the home stretch Breaux Bridge and St. Martinville continue their District 5-4A campaigns while Cecilia returns to New Iberia for a non-league contest against the Yellow Jackets of District 3-5A.

Balanced offense lifts Cecilia to easy victory

A struggling Westgate team was no match for Cecilia’s offensive juggernaut last week as the Bulldogs rolled to a 49-0 District 5-4A victory over the 0-7 Tigers.
Cecilia roared to a 28-0 halftime lead and added 21 more points in the third period before coasting through the final stanza.

Lee, Leon boost BB to 30-8 win over Wildcats

With senior running back Ruben Hypolite still mending from an earlier leg injury, Daniel Lee and sophomore quarterback Julian Leon stepped up big time last week to lead Breaux Bridge to a 30-8 District 5-4A victory over Abbeville.
Lee, a senior, rushed for 40 yards and a TD and caught nine passes for 100 yards and two more scores.
