Duck hunt to benefit veterans

The UL Petroleum Department is sponsoring a duck hunt raffle in an effort to raise money and awareness for veterans suffering from PTSD, according to Kobie Renard, president of the student chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers at UL-Lafayette.
Winner of the raffle will received a 4-man duck hunt donated by Canebrake Outfitters of Jennings through the Mission22 charity whose goal is to raise awareness, enlist support, and end veteran suicide in America.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by contacting ULPeteService@gmail.com. The hunt will take place on Dec. 27 near Jennings.
The winner will be announced on Dec. 18.
