Harry Lee Dugas

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Harry Lee Dugas, 78, who passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Visiting hours were observed from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Brian Webre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Mr. Dugas loved fishing and gardening and he especially loved being with his grandchildren and his only great grandchild. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons, Dale Anthony (Kathy) Dugas and Dwayne Adam Dugas; his daughter, Harriet Ann Dugas; his brother, Jack Dugas; his sister, Barbara Jane Guidry; three grandchildren, Peggy Lee Hayes, Dustin Anthony Dugas and Amy Marie Dugas Quebedeaux; and one great-grandson, Logan Mitchell Quebedeaux.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Dugas Sr. and Elsie Artigue Dugas; his beloved wife, Barbara Ann Dugas; his brother, Charlie Dugas Jr.; and his sister, Yvonne Dugas Wisdom.
Pallbearers were Dale Anthony Dugas, Dwayne Adam Dugas, Jack Dugas, Glen Melancon, Caleb Quebedeaux and Charles Romero.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
