In a light week of basketball action over the Thanksgiving holiday, Breaux Bridge and Cecilia took part in the Louisiana Safety Systems Thanksgiving Shootout hosted by Acadiana High School.
The St. Martinville Tigers took the week off.
New Iberia – Jody David, state Department of Wildlife and Fisheries biologist, presented an updated plan to restore game fishing to Spanish Lake at the Spanish Lake Game and Fishing Preserve Commission meeting Nov. 21.
David’s proposal included a draw-down to remove undesirable species and a subsequent restocking of game fish.
