St. Martin Parish election results

The race for mayor in Breaux Bridge goes into a runoff in December. According to the Louisiana Secretary of State, Ricky Calais was the vote leader Tuesday with nearly 46 percent of the vote Tuesday. Jill Hebert narrowly squeezed out George Williams for the runoff slot. She polled 27.43 percent to Williams' 26.63.

St. Martinville Man And Three Juveniles Arrested In Connection With Burglary and Vandalism of St. Martinville Jr. High School

St. Martin Parish bridges closed

At least four bridges have been closed without notice in St. Martin Parish, including the much used pontoon bridge connecting the Butte la Rose community to the Henderson Levee.
Other bridges, all parish-maintained wooden-pier spans, are on Duchamp Road, Boone Lasseigne Road and Patin Street in Henderson.
