St. Martinville Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, after receiving several complaints of drug activity in the St. Martinville area, Thursday evening arrested Terrance Babin 26, St. Martinville, in the 900 block of Gov. Mouton Street.
Babin was found to be in possession of suspected illegal narcotics with an approximate street value of $2,000.

Tamara Taylor Fuselier, 34, Lafayette; outside agency warrant – extradition required, Lafayette Sheriff’s Office (LPSO).
Jerome Hamilton, 45, Lafayette; failure to appear, warrant, St. Martin Sheriff’s Office (SMSO).
Xavier Hunt, 22, Baton Rouge; outside agency warrant – extradition required, Louisiana State Police (LSP).

Theft rocks bayou festival

Good feelings remaining after the third and most successful Shake Your Trail Feather festival last weekend were spoiled temporarily when a person or persons unknown stole gasoline and electric outboard motors from the boat that pushes the entertainment barge down the bayou in the popular “paddle to the party” feature of the festival.

Trequel Clay, 17, 1000 block of Donald Dugas Dr., St. Martinville; - simple possession of marijuana (SMSO).
