In the evening of Sunday, March 15, the Abbeville Police Department arrested Tyrus Jamal Porter, 19, of Abbeville, on a warrant that was issued by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office in connection with the shooting on Johnson Road in Cecilia last month.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in Catahoula. Upon Deputies arrival, they discovered Jerry Ferguson, 39, Kaplan, in a vehicle at a residence next door to his estranged wife’s house.
Irvin Butler, 34, was arrested Wednesday, March 11, on suspicion of dealing drugs out of his Catahoula Highway residence.
