The following arrests and/or citations were reported in St. Martin Parish from Monday, Jan. 9 through Sunday, Jan. 22.
Catahoula – On Thursday, Jan. 12, following a purchase of methamphetamine by an undercover drug agent, St. Martin Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Catahoula residents.
St. Martinville – The St. Martin Sheriff’s Office is looking for Tevon Guidry, 41, of St. Martinville.
Guidry failed to appear in court to face charges of failure to register as a sex offender or child predator and three charges of non-support.
His last known address is in the 1100 block of Mouton Ave. in St. Martinville.
The Rotary Club of St. Martinville will stage its 71th annual Mardi Gras Carnival Ball on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Cade Community Center.

Opelousas – A hospital district that includes portions of St. Landry and St. Martin parishes is to be dissolved with the assets split between the parishes.
An agreement to make the split was approved on Jan. 18 by the St. Landry Parish Council to the delight of a crowd of Arnaudville residents.
