The TECHE Project, Leave No Trace, Keep Louisiana Beautiful and Bayou Teche Brewery are joining to produce the fall Trash Bash and Boogie, Halloween Edition, at the brewery in Arnaudville, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., this Saturday, Oct. 31.
St. Martin Sheriff Ronny Theriot defeated three challengers to win a fourth term. He polled 57 percent of the vote. Corey Broussard got 3 percent, Albert “Buz” LeBlanc 32 percent and Brian P. Theriot 8 percent.
Official Trick or Treat in St. Martin Parish will be 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31 – Halloween night.
Beginning Monday, Oct. 26, until Thursday, Dec. 3, Interstate10 will have full and intermittent single lane closures between Henderson and Ramah to allow crews to perform inspections on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge.
The proposed inspection schedule is as follows:
Monday, Oct. 26 – Thursday, Oct. 29, 7 a.m.-noon, eastbound
In addition to the highly publicized gubnatorial and other races, most principal parish officials are up for reelection this Saturday.
