The Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors will meet Monday, June 30, to select a site for the new $9.2 million Evangeline Campus of South Louisiana Community College.

Cecilia Youth Sports Association, the area’s youth baseball program, presented Parish Government with a check for $50,000 toward new restrooms at Paul Angelle Park.
Todd Dugas, representing the organization, said the money was accumulated over a half-dozen years by pinching pennies.
