Members of the St. Martin School Board will begin the new year by electing officers to serve during 2015.
The board will hold its first meeting of the year at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Administrative Office, 625 Corporate Boulevard.

School board members last week put in motion steps that will lead to the sale of $11,675,000 in general obligation bonds to finance a sweeping and ongoing school facilities upgrade.

As expected, the mayoral runoff here Saturday pitted neighborhood against neighborhood with the decision hanging on turnout.
