Now that the high-tech, multi-million-dollar, Super Pac-driven campaign for governor is over, you’ll probably notice the contrast in this story about campaigning a couple of decades ago.
Don’t you wish this weather would last forever? I can hear lawnmowers, see people in shorts, enjoy having my windows and doors open. I know it won’t last but it sure is wonderful for a while. Hard to believe this is December! At last phone call, my sisters report that Michigan weather is somewhat moderate also.

At last the weather has turned more winter-like. I kind of like it although I wish the ground would dry up a bit more. Although my puppy goes out in the yard by herself, I often go out with her and sit in the swing while she plays (and digs holes).
