There are times when our weakness or burden overwhelms our ability to pray. The weight of a lost friend, a lost child, or a lost world can bury us in despair. But God does not leave us helpless. He has sent His Spirit to reside in us so that we will have the ability to cry out in ways even beyond our reach.
The rains have finally ceased, thank goodness. At least temporarily. My yard is still a bit soggy and unfortunately my 4-month-old puppy has found the soft soil perfect for digging holes. Nevertheless, the sun shone this afternoon and it was heavenly. The cooler weather is also pretty nice. Great sleeping weather.

Of all the amazing attributes of God the most endearing is His willingness to commune with us. God has chosen to make Himself known to His children. He speaks to us and allows us to address Him.
