Nov. 6 St. Martinville City Council meeting cancelled

The St. Martinville City Council meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, has been cancelled, Çity Hall announced this morning.
The reason cited was not enough items for the agenda.
The regular schedule of meetings will resume Monday, Nov. 20, in City Hall at 6 p.m.

Glenn Soileau, plaintiff’s attorney in the suit to block the annexation, announced a deal had been reached some weeks ago. Collette says the deal is awaiting Soileau’s final approval and signatures.
