Ag Building back in business in Breaux Bridge

The new state-of-the-art library is still a work in progress but its next-door neighbor is back up and running.
The venerable old red-brick St. Martin Parish Agricultural Building had to sacrifice its meeting room to the new library’s expanded footprint, but in its place is a high-tech auditorium, which is now open for business.

Jeremiah Jones, 26, 900 block of Begnaud St., Breaux Bridge; hold for (SMSO).

Henderson man busted for drugs

Executing an arrest warrant for drug possession on a Henderson man on Tuesday, July 15, narcotic agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office say they found him in possession of even more drugs.
An added count of possession of Schedule II narcotics – methamphetamine – was levied at Jordan Ryder, 22.
