Swarms of volunteers and swarms of mosquitoes competed for the health and well-being of Heather Gary, her 4-year-old son Landon Sonnier, and a friend’s daughter Taylin Toucheck, also 4.

The St Martin Parish Sheriff's office has confirmed that Heather Gary, 25,
Taylin Toucheck and Landon Sonnier, both 4, have been found alive.

The trio were reported missing Sunday afternoon. Reports that they were seen walking east along Joel Blanchard Rd. in Grand Bois (near Parks) spread rapidly through the community.

Breaux Bridge mayoral forum will be May 22

The Breaux Bridge Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a forum featuring the candidates for mayor Thursday, May 22, starting at 6 p.m.

It will take place in Breaux Bridge City Hall, corner of Berard and Bridge streets.
