BREAUX BRIDGE WOMAN WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH THEFT BY FRAUD CHARGES

UPDATE: Williams turned herself in to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Wednesday afternoon. She was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center and subsequently released on a $4,000 bond.

Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Ms. Lawaina Katrice Williams, 28, Breaux Bridge, in connection with theft by fraud over $500.00.

Williams allegedly stole a phone from an elderly woman, activated it and ran up a substantial phone bill.
