On Wednesday, Dec. 4, St. Martinville City Police Department received a call from a local Fast Food chain, concerning counterfeit money that was being distributed. Following an investigation into the incident, Kevin St. Julien, 41, St. Martinville, was arrested today by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office for Monetary Instrument Abuse.

UPDATE: Junius Lee Babineaux was arrested earlier today by Breaux Bridge Police without incident.
Breaux Bridge police are looking for Junius Lee Babineaux who's wanted for second degree robbery.
"Babineaux is considered to be violent and may be armed and dangerous," Assistant Chief Terry Latiolais said.
