Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 12, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Norman “Sonny Boy” J. Lavergne, 78, who passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
Lafayette – Johnny Carroll Soignier, 81, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his residence.
Johnny was a member of the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Breaux Bridge – Marcelina “Mercy” Noel, 50, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2016, at her home in Colorado Springs after a long illness. She was a cosmetologist and owned Mercy’s Full Service Salon in Colorado Springs. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Cecilia - A Funeral Service was held on Monday, March 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Florine A. Castille, 65, who passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at her residence.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
