Norman J. Lavergne

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, March 12, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Norman “Sonny Boy” J. Lavergne, 78, who passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
Interment followed at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Cemetery in Lafayette.
He is survived by his wife Rita Angelle Lavergne; his children, Marcus Lavergne, Jeffery J. Lavergne, Todd J. Lavergne, Denise Lavergne and Bert L. Lavergne; brothers, Raymond Lavergne and Lee Anthony Lavergne; four step children, 10 grandchildren,; four great-grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren and 23 step great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
