The following arrests and/or citations were reported in St. Martin Parish from Monday, March 30, through Sunday, April 5.
On April 2, officers with the Breaux Bridge Police Department arrested Tommy Junior Celestine, 22, of Breaux Bridge, on suspicion of attempted second degree murder.
BBPD detectives are investigating a stabbing that took place on March 19, during a large fight where Celestine allegedly stabbed at least one person multiple times.
The following arrests and/or citations were reported in St. Martin Parish from Monday, March 23, through Sunday, March 29.
Monday, March 23
GEHANT, Alexis, 19, 1000 block of Aldus Johnson Rd., Breaux Bridge; false or altered lottery tickets, St. Martin Sheriff’s Office (SMSO).
GUILLOT, Larry, 53, 2100 block of Atchafalaya River Hwy, Breaux Bridge; violation of protective order (SMSO).
Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Friday arrested Earl Etienne Sr., 49, without incident at his residence on Russo Milazzo Road.
Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional on suspicion of felony aggravated battery.
