Last year the movie “Noah,” directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Aronofsky and Ari Handel, was supposedly based on the biblical story of Noah’s Ark from the Book of Genesis. Anyone familiar with the biblical-historical account of Noah quickly learns that Hollywood has taken liberties with the Bible.

Rain, rain, go away, Come again another day! Isn’t that the way the nursery rhyme goes? I managed to get two and a half flower beds cleaned and ready for planting but have two more to go. Now it’s either raining or too wet to work in the beds. My rain gauge registered an inch and a half just today.
It is amazing that there are even a handful of folk who can still do old-fashioned Acadian spinning and weaving, considering that it was apparently a dying craft well before the 1900s.
