Nathan Stanley’s album is absolutely loaded with great music. The project is appropriately titled, as the Virginia native is the grandson of bluegrass legend, Dr. Ralph Stanley. The two team up for an epic duet that will leave you breathless.

Elaine Clement works at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville. Lucky her, she has a job greeting visitors here from all walks of life and every country world wide who come here to meet, enjoy and learn about us Cajuns. She speaks French. Elaine worked for many years at Codofil. She is a great person.
Valsin Joseph Theriot grew up speaking French in his native Breaux Bridge, which probably had a good deal to do with how he came to serve as a liaison officer between U.S. and French troops during World War I.
Kelsey Waldon is the real deal. Her new album, The Gold Mine, represents great music from a great artist. She has that true country twang and that pure country sound. I loved her from the first listen to her record.
Isn’t this weather beautiful? I’ve gradually been cleaning out flower beds and hope to purchase some spring flowers this weekend. I do have gladiola bulbs in the ground and I think I saw a sign of a leaf coming up.
