On the defensive side, senior Izrael Ledet intercepted two Westgate passes, and returned a punt for a touchdown.
With the win the Tigers improved to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in District 5-4A play while Westgate is still without a win for the year.
Bossier’s first TD, a 70-yard burst on BB’s second play of the game, came less than three minutes after the opening kickoff.
And two minutes later Ledet gathered in a Westgate punt and raced 60 yards to pay dirt, boosting The Bridge’s lead to 14-0.

Westgate threatened midway through the third period after a high snap on a punt attempt forced BB to turn the ball over on downs at its 13. But the Tiger defense rose to the challenge, forcing the visitors to try for a field goal which was blocked.
Halfway through the final stanza Breaux Bridge halted a Westgate drive when Ledet got his second interception at the BB 24.
Bossier broke a 48-yard run and four plays later reached the end zone on an 8-yard carry for the game’s final score.
