SMSO nabs two on rape charges

St. Martinville — A mother-and-son team is behind bars this week after being arrested for rape charges against a female juvenile.

Dannon Sellers, 24, of Cypress Island, was arrested for three counts of aggravated rape and his mother, Debra Miller, 43, was charged with accessory after the fact to aggravated rape.

Bond for Sellers was set at $300,000; Miller's is $200,000. Both remain booked in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Facility.
