Breaux Bridge – Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 16, for Terry Ruth Melancon, 73, who passed away on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Joy N. Broussard, 71, who passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, at Iberia Medical Center.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.
Cecilia – Funeral services are pending for Jessie Pierre Stelly, 67, who passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
Warren Gayle Guidry, 66, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, in River Ridge, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Lucere and Suzanne Guidry; and his brother, Maurice Guidry Jr.
He is survived by his brothers, Paul and Jeffery Guidry; three nephews and four nieces.
Lafayette – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home for Bobby LaGrange, 72, who passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016. The Reverend Gary Schexnayder, Pastor at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, officiated the funeral ceremony.
