Franklin Boat Show Cancelled due to Weather

The Bayou Teche Wooden Boat Show has been called off due to the weather.

Organizers of the sixth annual event say the threat of thunderstorms this weekend and the fact that participants were unable to attend led to the decision.

The show may be rescheduled. More information will be forthcoming if another date is set.

The Bayou Teche Black Bear Festival is set to go on as scheduled Friday through Sunday.
