She loved to sew and cook. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and her husband.   Going to the beach was her favorite vacation, although she traveled the world with her husband. Walking the mall was another one of her hobbies for many years.  She also volunteered at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
As a grandmother, she was affectionately known as Granny. She enjoyed many trips with her grandchildren to the zoo, as well as after school trips for ice cream at Scarlett Scoop. Besides working as a receptionist at her son’s dental office to help him start his practice, she was also a homemaker.
She never met a stranger and always had a beautiful smile.  She will be greatly missed.
The family thanks the staff at The Suites of Sugarmill that became her second family as a resident there for two years and a daycare patient prior to becoming a resident.  Also, thanks to Haydel Memorial Hospice for the care provided for the last year.
