St. Martinville observes National Day of Prayer with a luncheon

St. Martinville will host the National Day of Prayer Thursday, May 7. The theme this year is “O Lord, Hear Our Prayer.”
Having outgrown the prayer breakfast at the Recreation Center, this year’s event will be a prayer luncheon to be held at St. Martin Sheriff’s Training Academy on Hwy 96. This location will allow the event to double in size to over 200 participants.
The event will begin with a buffet luncheon served between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. The Prayer Event will be held from 12:15 to 1 p.m.
This year’s keynote speaker will be back by popular demand: Todd Trahan, president of Intercessors For Louisiana. His message is “ Agreeing With God.”
Everyone is invited, but tickets are required. Tickets are free and can be picked up at St. Martinville City Hall.
