Early voting begins today

Early voting for the Nov. 4 election begins today and continues through Tuesday, Oct. 28, excluding Sunday.
You may vote in the offices of Patricia T. Guidry, St. Martin Registrar of Voters, 415 Saint Martin St., in St. Martinville. Also at the Sydnie Mae Durand Senior Citizen Center (Council on Aging) at 391 Cannery Rd., in Breaux Bridge, and at St. Martin Parish Water District No. 1, 1073 Tower Tank Rd., in Stephensville.
Hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
St. Martin Parish Clerk of Court Becky Patin reminds voters that there is a three-minute maximum limit to stay in the voting booth, both during early voting and in the regular election Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Because there are 14 proposed constitutional amendments on the ballot, Patin recommends you study those issues beforehand and bring a “cheat sheet” of your choices into the voting booth with you.
