Man busted in kidnapping, battery

Breaux Bridge – A Lake Charles man wanted for the abduction and battery of a Breaux Bridge woman on Nov. 18, was arrested here Thursday, Nov. 21, according to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect is identified as Jeremiah Jones, 25, of Lake Charles.

Jones was located in Breaux Bridge and arrested without incident with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Office.

He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center and is awaiting bond.
