I haven’t been paying much attention to the national weather situation so I don’t know why the spillway water level is so high, but it actually has come up a little this past week. My mowed walking trail is partially underwater necessitating a few detours as I walk.
The critical role of spiritual awakening is vital to our spiritual survival and God’s purposes. In times of deep national decay, it seems that the only element that can bring the comprehensive course correction needed is a widespread movement of revival and awakening.

When we were in the fields picking cotton and peppers, or any work done in the fields back in the 1950s, do any of you out there remember fighting with mosquitoes while we picked? I don’t remember mosquitoes like we have now during those days. Even in the 1940s, when we’d go meet papa in the fields.
Today it was hot! We need some rain. Late in the afternoon it thundered, the sky grew dark and about 10 drops of water fell. That was it! Forecast for tomorrow is 60 percent so I hope that amount is for here.
