2 Breaux Bridge standouts return to their alma mater

Two former Breaux Bridge residents were among 15 alumni returning to the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts here to discuss their experiences at the school with current students and to provide insight on what they need to know to prepare for their future.
Jeremy Bordelon, Class of ’97, lives in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he is a partner at his law firm. He earned a B.S. in legal assistant studies from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a juris doctorate from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Jamie Smith, Class of ’88, resides in Baton Rouge. He earned a B.S. in general studies from LSU and an M.S. in physical therapy from the University of Miami. He is the owner of Spine & Sports Specialties in Gonzales.
Other speakers were T. Grant Belgard (2004) of Baton Rouge, Breton Boudreaux (2002) of Marrero, Brittany Boudreaux (2005) of Metairie, USAF Maj. Jeff Carpenter (1990) of Sulphur, Stacy Carpenter (1992) of Port Vincent, Jennifer Dhir (2003) of Mandeville; MaKenzie Eakin Hauburger (2003) of Alexandria, R. Case Harvey (2002) from New Orleans, Mary C. Hollis (2002) from New Orleans, Mallory LeBlanc (2009) from Gonzales, Lindsey Long (2000) from Baton Rouge, Mary Ellen Slayter (1995) from Duberly, and Marielle Soniat (2003) from Thibodaux.
