Every day this past week the weather forecast has been for rain, sometimes as much as 80 percent. So far we had a slight trickle lasting just a few minutes.
I spent last weekend in Orlando, Fla., primarily to see/hear my granddaughter play in the Symphonic Cinema concert of the Central Florida Community Arts organization. Her concert was wonderful.

The price of crawfish went up to $1 a pound a few days ago and now I hear it’s back to 75 cents. I don’t see much activity at the Belle River landing lately. No matter. When the dog and I go there for our walks, there are only a few vehicles parked.
