Wiley Joseph Robin Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2015, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Wiley Joseph Robin Sr., 79, who passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015.
Visiting hours were observed from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continued on Monday at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge. A rosary was prayed at 7p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Brian Webre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery #2.
Wiley was a parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where he also served as an Usher. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, carpentry, faming, and playing the accordion, while entertaining his family and friends. Wiley also enjoyed growing roses for his lovely wife, Shirley, of 50 plus years. He loved his family more than anything in life.
He is survived by three sons, Terry Robin and wife Lorie of Maurice, Dean Robin and wife Wendy of Catahoula, and Wiley Robin Jr. and wife Debbie of Breaux Bridge; four daughters, Janice Barras and husband Danny, Liz Barras and husband Dale, Tina Robin and companion Sandy Bernis, all of Catahoula, and Rebecca Anderson and husband Salvador of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Raymond Robin Jr. of Breaux Bridge, Clint Robin of Lafayette and Norris Badon of Breaux Bridge; six sisters, Romona Carmichael of Carencro, Geraldine “Chic” Allemond of Henderson, Suzanne Poucieaux of Breaux Bridge, Barbara Nell “Bobbie” Noel of Henderson, Druselia Boudreaux of Henderson and Linda Brasseaux of Breaux Bridge; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Latiolais Robin; his parents, Raymond Robin Sr. and Olivia Theriot Badon; a son, Aldus Robin; two brothers, Aubrey Badon and Curley Robin; and a grandson, Clayton Latiolais.
Pallbearers were Chance Robin, Seth Anderson, Kevin Smith Jr., Dale Barras Jr., Anson Robin and Dean Robin.
Honorary pallbearers were Terry Robin, Dale Barras Sr., Danny Barras, Wiley Robin Jr., Salvador Anderson, Sandy Bernis, Anthony Barras, Paul Robin, Derrick Robin and Zack Barras.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
