Vivian Marie Castille Guidry

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Vivian Marie Castille Guidry, 96, who passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at Maison de Lafayette.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and continued on Saturday at 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mrs. Guidry was a middle child of twelve born to Robert and Rosa Quebedeaux Castille. She was a homemaker who spent her free time volunteering with the St. Vincent de Paul organization and assisting in delivering of the “Meals on Wheels” throughout the Breaux Bridge area.
She is survived by her sons, David Wayne Guidry and wife Elaine of Youngsville, Jesse Elie Guidry and wife Karen of Sagle, Idaho, and Dennis Ray Guidry and wife Marsha of Montgomery, Texas; brother, Roy Castille and wife Jane of Port Arthur, Texas; grandchildren, Angela Rosa, Jason Guidry, Beverly Guidry, Mrs. Robert (Toni Reneé) Buehring, Christopher Wayne Guidry and Brigitte Michelle Guidry; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elie Guidry; infant daughter, Mary Linda Guidry; parents, Robert and Rosa Quebedeaux Castille; sisters, Cecile Thibodeaux, Edna Romero and Ollie Patin; and brothers, Allen Castille, Easton Castille, Wade Castille, Percy Castille, Adley Castille, Whitney Castille and Louis Castille.
Pallbearers were Dennis Ray Guidry, Jesse Elie Guidry, George Edward Figueron, Christopher Wayne Guidry, Ernie Castille and Linton Castille.
Honorary pallbearers were Roy Castille, Robert Buehring and Jimmy Castille.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, was in charge of arrangements.
