Verna Mae T. Guidroz

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11:00 am, on Tues., October 28, 2014, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, for Verna Mae Taylor Guidroz, 82, who passed away Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, in Gonzales.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Martin of Gonzales; six sons, Dutile “D.J.” Guidroz of Walker, Leonard J. Guidroz and David Guidroz of Gonzales; Terry Guidroz and Patrick Guidroz of Arnaudville; Daniel Guidroz of Port Barre; two sisters, Rose Duplechien and Jeanette LaGrange, both of Baytown, TX; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Guidroz; her son, Gerald Guidroz; a grandson, Daniel Guidroz, Jr.; two brothers, Dutile and Alton Taylor; and four sisters, Vilma Guidroz, Wilma Calais, Anna Marie Stelly and Zula Stelly.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
