Tyrone Joseph Celestine
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 12 noon on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Tyrone Joseph Celestine, 28, who passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014, at St. Martin Hospital.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and continued at 7 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Rev. David Broussard officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
Tyrone enjoyed riding his bike, listening to music, Zydeco dancing, and talking on the phone. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Eva and James Demouchet of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Carroll Celestine of Cottonport, and Jacob Celestine and Ronelle Celestine, both of Lafayette; four sisters, Anissa Demouchet, Anicole Celestine, Shanelle Celestine and Anna Celestine, all of Breaux Bridge; three nieces, Kaleena Demouchet, Kaliyah Demouchet and Amyra Celestine; three nephews, Kenan Demouchet, Kaleel Demouchet and DéMaceyon Celestine; and a great niece, Kayla Charles, all of Breaux Bridge. He is also survived by his godparents, Vergie Lewis of Cecilia and Michael Breaux of Breaux Bridge.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Leona Celestine; his sister, Wanzett Lynette Demouchet; his brother, Jacolby Celestine; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henley Celestine Sr.
Pallbearers were Adam Harrison Demouchet, Dalton Alexander, Ernest John, Alonzo Demouchet, Jermaine Williams and McKinley Demouchet Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Carroll Celestine, Jacob Celestine, Ronelle Celestine, Kenan Demouchet, Kaleel Demouchet, Melvin Celestine, Henley Celestine Jr. and Herman Lewis.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
