Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Trudy Wiltz, 59, who passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, in Breaux Bridge.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 1 p.m. on Saturday and continued on until 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Deacon Ken Soignier officiated at the Funeral Service. Scriptures will be read by Chantelle Hill, Angelique Nauert and Amber Nauert.
Interment followed at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Trudy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially her grandchildren. She also loved playing with her dog, Mushu. She enjoyed many evenings dancing at Pat’s, and playing Bingo with her twin sister, Judy.
rudy will be remembered for the unconditional love that she provided to her family and will be remembered as a selfless mother, grandmother, and friend. Many will remember her as being the life of the party and for her famous fried chicken.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Wiltz and wife Amber and Jesse Wiltz II, all of Henderson; daughters, Michelle M. Wiltz and fiancé Christopher Oncale, Christina Credeur and husband Matthew, Angelique Nauert and husband Anthony, and Chantelle Hill and husband Dennis, all of Henderson; her brother, Jerry Sanchon and wife Marsha of Arnaudville; sisters, Linda White of Tennessee, Gilda Black of Baton Rouge, and Judy Doucet and husband Robert of Port Barre; and grandchildren, Averi Wiltz, Paxton Wiltz, Andru Nauert, Amber Nauert and Shane Leon Jr., all of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by parents, Adraius and Ella Mae Bazar Sanchon; her brother, Albert Sanchon; her sister, Suzanne Sanchon; and a grandchild, Autumn Credeur.
Pallbearers were Timothy Wiltz, Jerry Sanchon, Jesse Wiltz II, Gervis “Cookie” LaGrange, Chris Oncale and Christopher White.
Honorary pallbearers were Averi and Paxton Wiltz, Andru Nauert, and Shane Leon Jr.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridg was in charge of arrangements.
