Terry J. Thibodeaux
Parks – A Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Terry J. Thibodeaux, 60, who passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
Visiting hours were observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
A rosary was prayed on Monday.
Rev. Donald Pelous officiated at the Mass.
Burial will take place at a later date.
Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed with the Railroad for 27 years. He was very loving and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Terry was very intelligent. He loved to sing “Jambala Crawfish Pie,” wear silly hats, and even made up his own dance called the “Terry T” dance. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Lavergne; sons, Trent Thibodeaux and wife Katie, and Tyler Thibodeaux and wife Suzette; daughters, Keisha Thibodeaux, Felicia Noel and Deidra Thibodeaux; sisters, Brenda T. Verret and husband Patrick, Jeannette Thibodeaux and Belinda T. Bienvenue; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Thibodeaux; step-father, Norman Lavergne; uncle, Wallace S. Thibodeaux; maternal grandparents, Maurice and Donna C. Angelle; and paternal grandparents, Widmare “Catin” and Cecile Castille Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers were Tyler Thibodeaux, Trent Thibodeaux, Shane Verret, Shawn Verret, Travis Thibodeaux and Michael Verret.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
