Roland John Doré

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Roland John Doré, 62, who passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday and continued on Tuesday at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Monday.
Deacon Ken Soignier officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Roland was a skilled and talented carpenter who loved his work. He loved to cook and enjoyed having company over. Roland was well-liked by everyone who knew him and will be dearly missed by his family and friends, especially his twin brother, Ronald.
He is survived by two brothers, Ronald Doré and his wife Marilyn, and David Doré and wife his wife Brickey; two sisters, Annette Delcambre and Lorraine St. Clair and her husband, James; his sister-in-law, Sherline Dupuis Doré; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Vernes J. and Annie Lou Green Doré; his brother, Henry Doré; his sister, JoAnna Doré Landry and her husband Dalton Jules Landry; and his brother-in-law, Jerry Delcambre.
Pallbearers were Cale Doré, James St. Clair Jr., Keith Delcambre, Duane Doré, Dylan Doré and Austin Doré.
Honorary pallbearers were Ronald Doré, David Doré, James St. Clair Sr. and Ralph Angelle.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
