Robert Mallet Jr.

Leonville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, June 20, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for Robert “Sammy K” Mallet Jr., 67, who passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Residence.
Interment followed at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville.
He is survived by his companion, Caroline Jones of Port Barre; his son, Robert Mallet III of Leesville; his step sons, Elijah Mallet and Leonard Jones, all of Port Barre; his step daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Lydia) Jones of Opelousas and Mrs. Dennis (Cleopatra) Jones of Lafayette; his sisters, Julia Mallet of Port Barre and Mras. Richard (Coretha) Gray of Lake Charles; his brothers, Albert Mallet of Killeen, Texas, Alton Mallet of Opelousas and Donavain Mallet Sr. of Port Barre; three grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Peter Mallet.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville was in charge of arrangements.
