Lafayette – Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church for Mr. Robert Alexander 70, who died August 10, 2015.
Interment will be held in St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge. Fr. F. Hampton Davis III will conduct the service.
Mr. Alexander is survived by his father, Cassie Alexander Sr. of Breaux Bridge; his wife, Delores G. Alexander of Breaux Bridge; two children, Melissa Alexander Hall (Adam) of Cecilia and Martin Willrige (Letitia) of Breaux Bridge; seven grandchildren, Tanisha Williams (Dorsey) of Lafayette, Brooke Pitre and Morgan Celestine of Cecilia, Jayden Alexander of Lafayette, Haylee Alexander of Lafayette, and Shelby Willrige of Breaux Bridge; two great-grandchildren, Dailen and Saige Williams of Lafayette; and a host of family and friends.
Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Rosevelt Alexander and Albertha Davis Alexander; one son, Kirby Alexander; and one brother, Cassie Alexander Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, from 7a.m. until the time of service at Kinchen Funeral Home.
