Pauline Berard Savoy

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in for Pauline Berard Savoy, 93, who passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
Visiting hours were observed from 7 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Friday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary was prayed at 11 a.m. on Friday.
Fr. F. David Broussard officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
She is survived by her son, William “Bill” Savoy and wife Sheila; daughters, Sheila Hebert and husband Tony, and Sheron Delahoussaye; her daughter-in-law, Rose Savoie; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and two expected in 2016; brothers, Maurice Berard and Chester Berard and wife Laida; sisters-in-law, Aimee Huval and husband Harry, and Bunice Angelle and husband Cecil; and her brother-in-law, Cecil Savoy and wife Delsie.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bella Berard; her husband, Percy Savoy; a son, Robert “Bob” Savoie; grandson, Deacon Delahoussaye; sister, Theresa Champagne; and brothers, William, Bennett, Dewey and George Berard.
Pallbearers were William Savoy, Dale LeGrand, Patrick Savoy, Boyd Savoie, Cade Poirier and Tony Hebert.
Honorary pallbearers were Harry Huval, Cecil Angelle, Cecil Savoy, Maurice Berard and Chester Berard.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
