Paul ‘Paulo’ Cormier

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 30, at St. Bernard Catholic Church’s Borel Center for Paul “Paulo” Cormier, 89, who passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
Fr. Stephen Ugwu officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Aglais Landry Cormier; sons, Jeff Cormier and Gary L. Cormier; daughters, Mrs. Herman (Dolly) Bourgeois, Debbie C. Plouet, Lisa Cormier, Mrs. Tony (Leslie) Stutes, and Mrs. Blanc (Amanda) Fontenot; brother, Ames Cormier Jr.; step brothers, Phillip Cormier and Leonard Cormier; sisters, Annabelle Borel and Edna Marks; step sister, Marcella Dupuis; 10 grandchildren three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild; and an infant daughter, Sarah Cormier.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
